Abstract:
Disclosed are a video playing realization method and apparatus. The method comprises: in the process of playing a first video file, receiving a trigger instruction for playing a second video file; taking a playing region of the first video file in a video playing page as a main picture, and setting another playing region in the video playing page as a secondary picture; extracting a playing address of the first video file, and according to same, playing the first video file in the secondary picture; and acquiring a playing address of the second video file, and playing the second video file in the main picture. Therefore, the video playing realization method and apparatus solve the problem that the watching of a plurality of video files can only be switched by repeatedly performing playing address jumping or clicking playing pages of different playing addresses during media playing.
