Abstract:
This video processing device which can be connected to a memory device is provided with a first reception unit and a control unit. The first reception unit receives a main video which includes a plurality of frames that are sequential along the time axis, and which is obtained by capturing a plurality of subjects, including at least one moving subject. The control unit generates, from the main video, one or more sub videos that are obtained by capturing a first subject among the plurality of subjects. The control unit generates data on the main video, which contains the main video and first association information for specifying the one or more sub videos generated from the main video. The control unit further generates data on the one or more sub videos, which contains the one or more sub videos and second association information for specifying the main video from which the one or more sub videos have been generated. The control unit causes a storage device to store the data on the main video and the data on the one or more sub videos.
