The present application discloses a video publishing method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The video publishing method comprises: after receiving a trigger operation for a video association control of an original video, displaying a video capturing interface; after completing capturing an associated video in the video capturing interface, displaying a video editing interface, the associated video being a video associated with the original video; after completing editing the associated video in the video editing interface, displaying a video publishing interface; after a publishing control in the video publishing interface is triggered, publishing a target video, the publishing control being used for publishing the associated video as the target video, a target video playback details page of the target video displaying a first switching control of the original video, and after a viewing operation is performed on the first switching control, switching being performed to display an original video playback details page of the original video.
