Abstract:
Provided are a video quality evaluation method and system based on a network health index. By means of fitting a video quality evaluation based on a network health index to a video quality evaluation analyzing lag data on the basis of frame lag information provided by a chip, obtaining a network health index-based evaluation algorithm module of an evaluation method for simulating and analyzing lag data, and embedding same in a set-top box which lacks the ability to analyze lag data, achieving objectively accurate video quality evaluation consistent with an effect corresponding to human visual experience, solving the problem of a unified evaluation standard for whole-network quality monitoring.
