Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to ensure redundancy by setting, in a plurality of video recording apparatuses, a recording area for each piece of video data. A video recording system in which a plurality of cameras and a video recording apparatus are connected over a network, said system characterized in that the video recording apparatus has a plurality of video data recording devices, and records video data transmitted from the cameras in an area set for each of the cameras. A video recording apparatus for recording video data output from a plurality of cameras, said apparatus characterized by recording video data transmitted from the cameras in an area set for each of the cameras.
