Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To effectively reduce the video reproduction time and automatically
feed rapidly or skip a video section not desired by a user even for a content which
has not been reproduced by the user. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Common section
detection means (13) compares a feature amount for a video as a reproduction object
extracted by feature amount generation means (12) to a feature amount for a video
as a rapid feed object section stored in rapid object section feature amount storage
means (23), so that the start point and the end point of the common portion is stored
in the rapid feed object section position storage means (24). Rapid object section
read-in means (31) acquires the start point and the end point of the common portion
of the video section corresponding to the video specified by an input device (4)
from the rapid feed object section position storage means (24). When successively
reproducing the video specified by the input device (4), the video reproduction
control means (33) rapidly feeds the section from the point where the start point
of the common portion is set to the point where the end point of the common portion
is set.
