Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to appropriately interpolate a frame repeated frame without erroneously detecting frame repetition. A video signal processing device (60) which carries out a signal processing of a baseband video signal which is decoded from a compressed video signal comprises: an interpolation phase generation unit (30) which acquires frame repeat information which represents the locations of the same frame which is outputted a plurality of times in succession, and generates interpolation phase information for generating an interpolation frame which interpolates motion between frames; a motion vector detection unit (40) which detects a motion vector between updated frames which the frame repeat information represents; and an interpolated frame generation unit (50) which generates an interpolated frame using the interpolation phase information and the motion vector, and outputs an output video signal of the same frame rate as the baseband video signal, which includes the updated frame and the interpolated frame.
