Abstract:
An image coding method, according to the present invention, may comprise the steps of: generating a 360-degree projected image by means of the projective transformation, on a two-dimensional plane, of a 360-degree image approximated to a stereoscopic figure; and coding information related to padding for the 360-degree projected image. Here, if the projective transformation technique is adjusted cubemap projection (ACP), the 360-degree image projective transformation step may comprise the steps of: transforming a spherical coordinate system of a sample to a first face 2D coordinate system; and transforming the first face 2D coordinate system to a second face 2D coordinate system.
