Abstract:
A video system (2) comprises: an aerial image formation optical system (6) having recursive reflection characteristics and forming an aerial image (16), representing a three-dimensional object (4), by causing light rays from the three-dimensional object (4) to form an image in the air; a first lens array (8) that is disposed at or near the position where the aerial image (16) is formed, and that has a plurality of first lenses (34) arranged two-dimensionally; and a camera (10) that has an image-forming lens (36) and an imaging element (38), and that images light rays from the aerial image (16) which have passed through the first lens array (8) so as to output a three-dimensional element video signal which includes light ray information related to the light rays from the aerial image (16).
