Abstract:
A videoconference system (100) is able to utilize an additional function with utilization restriction, and is provided with a restriction unit (125) which, when first users having no utilization restriction with respect to the additional function, and second users having utilization restriction with respect to the additional function participate in a videoconference, (1) permits the use of the additional function if the number of the second users that participate in the videoconference is a predetermined allowable number of participants or less, and (2) restricts the use of the additional function if the number of the second users that participate in the videoconference exceeds the allowable number of participants.
