Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a view angle-limiting sheet capable of advantageously preventing leakage of personal information and the like from an oblique direction and capable of inhibiting a reduction in front surface brightness; and a flat panel display provided with the view angle-limiting sheet. This view angle-limiting sheet is provided with a plurality of first optically transparent sections that are rectangular in cross section and arranged in a multi-stripe fashion, and second optically transparent sections that are rectangular in cross section and arranged between the first optically transparent sections, wherein at least one side surface of the side surface of the first optically transparent section and the side surface of the second optically transparent section that face each other is formed as a light-scattering surface having very small concavo-convex shapes. The arithmetic mean roughness (Ra) of the light-scattering surface may be 1.5 μm to 4 μm inclusive. The ratio (Rz/Ra) of the ten-point mean roughness (Rz) and the arithmetic mean roughness (Ra) of the light-scattering surface may be 1 to 20 inclusive.
