Abstract:
Disclosed is a viewfinder capable of lighting a tally light without the use of cumbersome wiring, even if a video camera does not have a tally signal outputting terminal. Specifically disclosed is a viewfinder provided with a camera image inputting unit for receiving the input of video camera image signals containing the recording runtime code, and a tally display control unit for controlling the tally display, wherein the tally display control unit controls the tally display on the basis of whether the recording runtime code is progressing.
