Abstract:
Provided is a novel vinyl copolymer useful, for example, as a fluidity maintenance agent for maintaining the fluidity of a hydraulic cement composition. A vinyl copolymer having a weight-average molecular weight of 8000-200,000 and a proportion of 1-99 mol% of a specific structural unit A that has a carboxyl group, and 1-99 mol% of a specific structural unit B having a polyalkylene glycol residue (total 100 mol%) in the total structural units.
