Abstract:
A virtual exhibition space system utilizing a 2.5-dimensional image and a method for providing same are provided. In the system, a perspective projection having a predetermined viewpoint and a predetermined number of vanishing points is formed with respect to a predetermined virtual exhibition space comprising a plurality of wall surfaces, virtual three-dimensional coordinates in a predetermined location on the plurality of wall surfaces in the perspective projection are calculated on the basis of the vanishing points of the perspective projection, on the basis of the virtual three-dimensional coordinates, a predetermined two-dimensional content image is rotated or resized and positioned on at least one wall surface among the plurality of wall surfaces in the perspective projection, and a virtual exhibition space image is produced by means of the perspective projection on which the content image is positioned.
