Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to the technical field of internet live video, and provide a virtual gift presentation method and apparatus. The virtual gift presentation method comprises: generating a task link for target gift presentation; then executing each asynchronous animation task in the task link according to a pre-defined task execution order; and when executing each asynchronous animation task, obtaining animation resources from a resource pool associated with the asynchronous animation task, to operate the animation resources according to a preset execution logic. The virtual gift presentation method adopts a chain of responsibility design pattern to build an implementation framework of a gift presentation process, the task link for gift presentation is generated in a declarative syntax, to enable a process previously mixed in a code logic to be explicitly expressed, and a better maintainability and extensibility is achieved; and achieving an efficient and orderly presentation of the virtual gift by sharing the resource pool and scheduling queue can effectively support development of business, and improve the user experience.
