Abstract:
A virtual grid imaging method being capable of eliminating the effect of scatter radiation in the high energy radiation imaging, which does not filter the scatter that arrives at the detector surface at first, but samples all the data of the scatter and the straight radiation, and then separates and suppresses the scatter component of the data being sampled, in order to achieve the purpose of eliminating the scatter component in the image being acquired. The method comprises the steps of (1) discomposing the digital image acquired into images of multi-frequency from the high frequency to the low frequency, according the frequency thereof; (2) performing a process of eliminating scatter to the image of low frequency; (3) performing a process of contrast enhancing to the image of high frequency; (4) combining the images of individual frequency being processed in step (2) and (3) to form an output image. A virtual grid imaging system for being capable of eliminating the effect of scatter radiation is also provided.
