Abstract:
This virtual-image display device is provided with: a display (11) that emits display light forming a virtual image; a reflecting mirror (31) having a reflecting surface (32) that reflects the display light emitted from the display; and a case (51, 251, 351) accommodating the display and the reflecting mirror and having an opening (53) allowing the exit of the display light reflected by the reflecting mirror to the outside. The case has a wall surface structure (62, 262a, 262b, 362, 462, 562) which has, at a location (61a, 261a, 261b, 361a) on a surface where external light that has entered inside the case from the outside of the case through the opening and then reflected by the reflecting surface is expected to reach, a plurality of first wall surfaces (63) facing a common first direction (D1) and a plurality of second wall surfaces (64) facing a common second direction (D2) different from the first direction. The wall surface structure is formed by connecting the first wall surfaces and the second wall surfaces one by one alternately along the surface.
