Abstract:
A HUD device (10) comprises a hollow housing (11) having a lower member (15) and a display device (21) held by a bottom plate portion (16) of the lower member (15). A display device (21) has a backlight unit (22), an image display panel (28) that is disposed opposite to the bottom plate portion (16) with a unit (22) interposed therebetween and is inclined with respect to the bottom plate portion (16), and a heat conduction member (32) that is formed in a tubular shape in which at least a part of the unit (22) is accommodated and an opening (32a) is closed by the image display panel (28), and that is in contact with the lower member (15) and conducts heat of the image display panel (28) to the lower member (15), the heat conductive member having a short wall portion (34) and a long wall portion (35) that have a dimensional difference corresponding to the inclination of the image display panel (28). The short wall portion-side contact area where the short wall portion (34) side of the heat conduction member (32) and the lower member (15) contact each other is larger than the long wall portion-side contact area where the long wall portion (35) side of the heat conduction member (32) and the lower member (15) contact each other.
