Abstract:
 A virtual middle box management system (10) is provided with a virtual middle box model generation means (11) for generating a performance model of a virtual middle box in which correlation between the number of function rules of the virtual middle box and the virtual resource amount, input state, and performance of the same is abstracted. The virtual middle box management system (10) may be provided with a virtual middle box chain derivation means for generating a plan for the allocation of a virtual machine to the virtual middle box as suitable for the characteristic of the virtual middle box. The virtual middle box chain derivation means may generate, using a communication network functional requirement and performance requirement as input, an instance of a virtual middle box chain in which the total amount of resource allocation is minimized.
