Abstract:
A virtual object skill releasing method and apparatus, a device, a medium, and a program product, relating to the field of human-computer interaction. The method comprises: displaying a first virtual character and a skill control, the skill control being used for releasing a range-type skill (202); in response to a trigger operation on the skill control, displaying a range-type skill indicator and a drag control, the range-type skill indicator being used for indicating the release range of the range-type skill, the release range having a first boundary point and a second boundary point, the first boundary point being determined on the basis of the position of a first virtual character, and the second boundary point being determined on the basis of the position of the dragged control (204); and in response to a drag operation on the drag control, changing at least one of a shape and an area of the release range (206). By using the method and apparatus, the device, the medium, and the program product, enemy's virtual characters can be efficiently attacked when the positions of the enemy's virtual characters are dispersed, thereby improving the processing efficiency of a terminal.
