Title:
VIRTUAL SUBSCRIBER LINE TERMINAL STATION DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR VIRTUAL SUBSCRIBER LINE TERMINAL STATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/017427
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a virtual subscriber line terminal station device equipped with: a software component that includes software to be added according to service requirements; and hardware that has a general-purpose function, wherein the hardware includes a communication part for receiving a bandwidth allocation request transmitted from a subscriber line terminal device, and the software component includes a bandwidth allocation component. The bandwidth allocation component is provided with: an individual part which calculates, on the basis of a bandwidth allocation algorithm, a bandwidth to be allocated to the subscriber line terminal device that has transmitted the bandwidth allocation request; a common part which allocates, according to the bandwidth allocated by the individual part, said bandwidth to the subscriber line terminal device; and an interface between the individual part and the common part, wherein the common part converts the bandwidth allocation request received by the communication part into a format usable by the individual part, while the individual part calculates a bandwidth to be allocated to the subscriber line terminal device that transmitted the bandwidth allocation request converted by the common part into a format usable by the individual part.
