Title:
VISCOELASTIC SURFACTANT FOR HIGH TEMPERATURE SELF-DIVERTING ACID, PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR AND USE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/098240
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a viscoelastic surfactant for a high temperature self-diverting acid, having a structural formula (I), wherein n is a saturated alkane having 2 to 8 carbon atoms, R1 is a saturated or unsaturated alkane having 18 to 28 carbon atoms, each of R2 and R3 is independently methyl, ethyl, or a hydrogen atom, R2 and R3 can be the same or different, and X— is any one of Cl—, Br—, F—, CO3
2-, SO4
2-, HCOO—, and CH3COO—. A method for preparing the surfactant comprises: performing an acid-amine condensation reaction of a fatty acid and an organic amine to form an intermediate product, then reacting same with a metal hydride to form a fatty amine, and then protonizing same by adding an acid liquid, so as to obtain a super-long chain viscoelastic cationic surfactant. Also provided is the use of the surfactant as a thickening diversion agent of a self-diverting acid. A self-diverting acid, with the surfactant of the present invention as the thickening diversion agent thereof, can be used at a high temperature of 150ºC, and has the advantages of a stable structure, thickening an acid liquid, homogeneous acidification, and automatic diversion, etc.
