Abstract:
Provided are a linear elastic modulus measurement method and linear elastic modulus measurement device with which reduction of the effects of disturbances such as vibration or electrical noise is possible and which are capable of measuring a highly precise, stable linear elastic modulus of a linear elastic body even when damping due to viscous stress is high. From the displacement of a vibrating body (1) that has been placed in contact with a linear elastic body, the linear elastic modulus measurement device (100) computes the vibration velocity (dx/dt) of the vibrating body (1). Said (dx/dt) is multiplied by a linear velocity feedback gain (Glin) to generate a feedback control signal (Fs). A force (Fv) proportional to the vibration velocity of the vibrating body (1) is applied on the vibrating body (1) using said (Fs) to cause the vibrating body (1) to undergo self-excited oscillation. The linear elastic modulus (Klin) of the linear elastic body is computed from the frequency (fs) when self-excited oscillation of the vibrating body (1) is detected and the mass (M) of the vibrating body (1).
