Abstract:
The present invention provides a viscous composition which contains a hydroxyethyl cellulose and an ionic surfactant, and which still exhibits excellent viscosity and excellent stability. The present invention specifically provides a viscous composition which contains cellulose nanocrystals, a hydroxyethyl cellulose, an ionic surfactant and water, wherein the magnitude relationship between the storage elastic modulus G' and the loss elastic modulus G" as obtained by frequency distribution measurement satisfies (storage elastic modulus G') > (loss elastic modulus G") over the entire frequency range of from 0.1 rad/s to 100 rad/s.
