Abstract:
In this vehicle door mirror device, an extending part (52D) is permitted to rotate around a second bent section (52E) in a plate spring (52: biasing means). When a retaining ball (22A: part of retaining part) of a visor body (16: supporting member) is inserted into an assembly wall (42A: flexible part) of a mirror body (38: visibility means), the extending part (52D) is rotated by the assembly wall (42A: flexible part), thereby allowing the load upon the retaining ball (22A: part of retaining part) when being inserted into the assembly wall (42A: flexible part) to be reduced. Conversely, when the retaining ball (22A: part of retaining part) is removed from the assembly wall (42A: flexible part), the load from the assembly wall (42A: flexible part) acts upon the extending part (52D) in the direction of the second bent section (52E), and the rotation of the extending part (52D) is suppressed, thereby allowing the load upon the retaining ball (22A: part of retaining part) when being removed from the assembly wall (42A: flexible part) to be increased.
