Abstract:
A visible-light-communication-signal display method for displaying an image indicated by a video signal, and an image obtained by encoding a visible-light communication signal, includes: an encoding step (S101) in which an encoded image is generated by encoding at least a portion of the visible-light communication signal; a division step (S102) for generating a plurality of divided images, i.e. images which correspond respectively to a plurality of partial images obtained by dividing the encoded image, which include the corresponding partial images, and which have, excluding the partial images, substantially equal brightness values that are not more than a prescribed brightness value; and a display step (S103) in which the image indicated by the video signal is displayed for a video-display time period, and the plurality of divided images are displayed in time sequence for a communication time period different to the video-display time period.
