Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a vision check device and a vision check method, in which the burden on a subject is reduced when vision such as visual field, visual acuity, and visual recognition is checked. This vision check device comprises: a laser irradiation unit having a light source that produces a laser beam, and a scanning mirror that performs scanning with the laser beam; a line-of-sight direction detection unit which detects the line-of-sight direction of the subject; a projection control unit which causes a test image to be projected at a position on the retina of the subject by generating a projection image to be projected by the laser beam on the retina of the subject, and generating a test image at the position on the projection image; and a test processing unit which performs a vision check process on the basis of information on the position on which the test image is projected and the line of sight detected by the line-of-sight direction detection unit, wherein the position of the test image on the projection image and the position on the retina of the subject are associated with each other.
