Abstract:
This visual function examination system has: either one of a determination means A constituted from a storage means for storing first shape information indicating a plurality of mutually different shapes of portions of interest included in an optotype, and/or second shape information indicating a plurality of mutually different shapes of glare portions included in the optotype at positions entering the field of vision of a subject, and a determination means for determining the shapes of the portions of interest and/or the shapes of the glare portions on the basis of the first shape information and/or the second shape information in accordance with the purpose of a visual function examination, and a determination means A2 constituted from a plurality of light sources and a determination means for determining, in accordance with the purpose of the visual function examination, at least one light source used as a glare portion in the visual function examination from among the plurality of light sources and the position thereof; a visual function examination means for sequentially presenting, to the subject, optotypes in which at least one of a combination of a luminance contrast value of the luminance of the portions of interest and the luminance of a background portion, the average luminance value of the optotype including the portions of interest and the background portion, and a stimulus value of a color stimulus of the optotype differ; and an analysis means for establishing a boundary between a region visible to the subject and a region not visible to the subject for each combination of the stimulus value of the color stimulus in a coordinate system indicating a correlation between the luminance contrast value and the average luminance value on the basis of the result of examination by the visual function examination means, and thereby establishing at least two boundaries.
