Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/185532
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are a vital information measurement device and a vehicle seat whereby it is possible to improve resilience of a seat-shaped sensor which detects vital signs of a seated party, and to reliably measure the heart rate of the seated party. A vehicle seat (S) comprises a seat-shaped sensor (20) which is attached to a seat back (2), and which is capable of measuring the heart rate of a seated party on the basis of vital signs of the seated party which are detected by the seat-shaped sensor (20). Sensor overlay alleviation means for alleviating a partial overlay of the seat-shaped sensor (20) when the seated party leans against the seat back (2) are disposed in the seat-shaped sensor (20). Specifically, the seat-shaped sensor (20) further comprises first notch parts which extend toward the center part of the seat-shaped sensor (20) in the outer circumference part of the seat-shaped sensor (20), and second notch parts which extend toward the opposite sides from the center parts of the seat-shaped sensor (20) along the outer circumference part thereof, contiguously from the first notch parts.
