Abstract:
 The present invention provides a vitamin D measurement method. Specifically, the present invention provides a vitamin D measurement method that includes: (1) treating a sample with a chaotropic agent; and (2) detecting vitamin D in the treated sample. The present invention also provides a vitamin D measurement kit that includes: (1) a chaotropic agent; and (2) a substance that has affinity for vitamin D, and/or a vitamin D preparation. Preferably, the chaotropic agent is guanidine or a salt thereof. Preferably, the sample is a sample from a human or a blood-derived sample.
