Abstract:
The present application belongs to the technical field of communications. Disclosed are a voice access method and a terminal device. The method comprises: if a terminal device resides in a first cell of a first network type and a voice service call state of the terminal device meets a state switching condition, acquiring M pieces of target frequency-point information, wherein the target frequency-point information is frequency-point information of a second network type, and the second network type is a network type that falls back with respect to the first network type; on the basis of the M pieces of target frequency-point information, performing a cell search, so as to obtain M pieces of signal quality information of M candidate cells; selecting, from among the M candidate cells, a second cell corresponding to target signal quality information, wherein the signal quality represented by the target signal quality information is higher than the signal quality represented by the other pieces of signal quality information among the M pieces of signal quality information; and on the basis of the second cell, performing voice access of the terminal device.
