Abstract:
Provided is a voice coil motor that weighs less but still achieves necessary thrust. Also provided are a lens moving device and an imaging device. A voice coil motor (10) that has a yoke (11) that includes: an outside yoke (15A) that acts as a magnet holding part; and an inside yoke (15B) that acts as a coil insertion part. A magnet (12) is fixed to the outside yoke (15A) at a surface thereof that is on the inside yoke (15B) side. A coil (13) is inserted through the inside yoke (15B). There are openings (17) in the outside yoke (15A) that extend from the center position to both end positions of the movement of the coil (13). The openings (17) pass through the outside yoke (15A). The weight of the outside yoke (15B) is reduced and necessary thrust is maintained.
