Abstract:
Provided is a voltage application device that makes the installation/removal of a channel element easier. According to the present invention, a microorganism detection device that includes said voltage application device is configured such that a substrate 2, a syringe, and an optical microscope are arranged close to each other inside a common housing. The microorganism detection device comprises: a holding plate 231 that holds the substrate 2; and an electrode support plate 23 that is attached to the holding plate 231 and that electrically connects the substrate 2, as held by the holding plate 231, to an alternating-current power supply that generates voltage. The electrode support plate 23 engages the substrate 2 when the substrate 2 has been installed on the holding plate 231 and is disengaged from the substrate 2 when the substrate 2 is removed from the holding plate 231.
