Abstract:
A voltage compensation device according to an embodiment includes: a power converter including an inverter circuit having a self-arc-extinguishing switching element; a first transformer, a second transformer, and a third transformer including primary windings respectively connected in series to a first phase, a second phase, and a third phase of three-phase alternating current, and secondary windings connected to the output of the first power converter; and a control unit for outputting a drive signal to drive the switching element on the basis of first voltage data indicating a line voltage between the upstream side of the first transformer and the upstream side of the second transformer and second voltage data indicating a line voltage between the upstream side of the second transformer and the upstream side of the third transformer. The control unit includes: a phase-voltage generation circuit; a first coordinate conversion circuit; a first filter; a second filter; a second coordinate conversion circuit; a third filter; and a fourth filter.
