Abstract:
A voltage compensation device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a power converter, a serial transformer, and a control unit. The control unit includes a first coordinate conversion circuit for generating a first output and a second output by rotation coordinate transformation of a positive phase component of a three-phase alternating current to an orthogonal component, a first computing unit for calculating a system voltage on the basis of a DC component of the first output and generating a first compensation amount corresponding to a compensation voltage set so as to compensate for a deviation of the system voltage from a target voltage; a second coordinate conversion circuit for generating a third output and a fourth output by rotation coordinate transformation of a reverse phase component of the three-phase alternating current to an orthogonal component; and a second computing unit for generating a second compensation amount of the reverse phase component of the system voltage on the basis of the DC component of the third output and the DC component of the fourth output. The first computing unit generates the first compensation amount so that, when the system voltage is within a predetermined range, the compensation voltage becomes lower than in other cases.
