Abstract:
Disclosed is a voltage conversion circuit comprising: a plurality of primary capacitors that are charged from a power source; secondary capacitors that are respectively connected in parallel to the plurality of primary capacitors, and that are capable of being charged by voltage supplied to a load circuit; and a plurality of switching circuits that are provided respectively corresponding to the plurality of primary capacitors, and that switch the connection state of the primary capacitors and the secondary capacitors. Connection of each of the primary capacitors, which have a charged voltage that has reached a prescribed connection voltage higher than the charged voltage of the secondary capacitors, to the secondary capacitors is effected by way of the sequentially corresponding switching circuits in such a way that the primary capacitors do not short circuit.
