Abstract:
According to the present invention, a configuration, in which an output can be forcibly stopped when an output current exceeds a criterion, is achieved while suppressing the complication of a circuit scale. In the voltage regulator (10), a second transistor (42) is in an electrification state when a control unit (60) is in an operation state in which an operation voltage is applied to a base of the second transistor (42). In the operation state, a Zener diode (51) sets the voltage of a second conductive path (92) as a voltage according to a voltage across both ends of the Zener diode (51). In the operation state, a current according to an addition value obtained by adding a value of a current flowing in a second resistor part (32), a value of a current flowing in a third resistor part (33), and a value of a current flowing in the Zener diode (51) flows in a ground-side resistor part (37). The control unit (60) stops the output of the operation voltage when the voltage of the second conductive path (92) becomes equal to or lower than a threshold value.
