Abstract:
A volume adjusting part (20) adjusts the volume in accordance with the operational amount of a volume operator (44). A howling detecting part (52) detects the occurrence of a howling accompanying a volume change using the volume adjusting part (20). A filter characteristic establishing part (54) of a control part (40) establishes a frequency characteristic of a howling suppressing filter (50) so as to suppress the howling detected by the howling detecting part (52). A volume adjusting function of a volume adjusting apparatus (10) is utilized as a howling adjusting function. The procedure of howling adjustment can be simplified.
