Abstract:
A volume adjustment method and a terminal device. The method comprises: a terminal device acquiring a volume set by a user for a current application (101); and the terminal device determining a difference value between the volume and a pre-set volume, so that the terminal device adjusts, according to the difference value, a volume when the user uses the application the next time (102). By means of the method, a volume of an application can be adjusted automatically according to a volume when a user uses the application daily, so that the application can provide a suitable volume for the user when the user uses the application each time, and it is unnecessary for all applications to use the same volume according to a volume configured by multimedia. A terminal device can adjust different applications according to the volumes of the different applications used by the user daily, thereby ensuring that the different applications can provide different volumes suitable for the user.
