Abstract:
Provided are: a volume change compensating device that has a simple configuration and can reduce a manufacturing burden; and a damper device equipped with the volume change compensating device. A damper device 100 is constituted by a rotary damper and has a volume change compensating device 140 provided inside a shaft body 121 of a rotor 120. The volume change compensating device 140 comprises an internal-cylindered piston 142 that is pressed by an internal-cylindered-piston pressing elastic body 145 inside a main cylinder 141 that communicates with a working fluid storage section 103 of the damper device 100 via a connection passage 141a. The internal-cylindered piston 142 is configured to have a bottomed cylindrical shape that opens toward the connection passage 141a and, inside the internal-cylindered piston, an internal-cylinder-accommodated small piston 143 is pressed against a bottom section 142b by a small piston pressing elastic body 144. An air hole 142c is formed in the bottom section 142b of the internal-cylindered piston 142. The internal-cylinder-accommodated small piston 143 slides inside the internal-cylindered piston 142 in response to the amount of working fluid 150 inside the internal-cylindered piston 142.
