Abstract:
A volume measuring system and method. The method comprises: acquiring the perpendicular distance F between a laser transmitting device (3) and a conveyor belt (2); marking a point formed by laser irradiation as a placement point O; acquiring the angle θ from the placement point O to an image center relative to a photographing device (4); acquiring the distance h between the photographing device (4) and the laser transmitting device (3); acquiring the distance M between the laser transmitting device (3) and an object (1); and determining the volume of the object (1). The volume measuring method only requires the analysis of a photographed image for data processing, has a small footprint in terms of analysis resources, and increases work efficiency and measurement precision.
