Abstract:
Provided are a volute fan and an exhaust fan using same, comprising a volute (21), a centrifugal wind wheel (22), and a motor (23); the volute (21) comprises an upper end plate (211) and a volute side plate (212) extending from the edge of the upper end plate (211) toward one end; a cavity (213) used for holding the centrifugal wind wheel (22) is formed between the upper end plate (211) and the volute side plate (212); a first air inlet (2111) and a first air outlet (2121) are arranged on the upper end plate (211) and the volute side plate (212), respectively; a lateral beam support (2112) is arranged at the position of the first air inlet (2111) of the upper end plate (211); the motor (23) is mounted on the lateral beam support (2112); the structure has a simple mounting structure between the volute (21) and the motor (23), the structural arrangement is reasonable, the number of mounting component parts is reduced, and costs are reduced.
