Abstract:
The invention relates to multicomponent media separation, in particular to devices for separating aeromixture and hydromixture flows which contain gaseous, liquid and different density solid components and can be used for various technological processes, i.e. for removing industrial wastes from environment etc. The inventive separator comprises a body and a separation grid incorporated therein. Said grid comprises funnel-shaped rings which are arranged with a gap, each ring has internal, rear and external surfaces which are provided with a vortex-forming edge where the internal and rear surfaces are crossed. The adjacent rings are connected along the perimeter of the external surfaces with the aid of a baffle which is provided with a drain tube which form vortex-cyclone pockets. Said pockets is provided with lateral holes which are coaxial with vortex and with filtering elements in such a way that it is possible to push purified less solid elements through said holes towards the outlet pipe of the body, the concentrated phases of the solid elements being transferred to the top of the separation grid. Both outlet pipes are provided with throttles in such a way that it is possible to adjust the hydraulic resistance thereof and ensure the required mixture separation and concentration parameters. Said separator increases the efficiency and reliability of operation.
