Abstract:
An air vortex generator capable of generating a multiple whirlwind, of the present invention, which is provided in an internal combustion engine of a vehicle, an airplane, a ship and various industrial machines so as to make suctioned/discharged air into a vortex and guide the flow of the air at high speed, thereby enabling intake/discharge efficiency to increase, is a vortex generator comprising: a body part (100) formed in the flow direction of the air inside an intake pipe such that the air suctioned into the internal combustion engine forms a vortex; and a plurality of wing parts (140) coupled to the outer peripheral surface of the body part, wherein the body part (100) is a hollow cylinder or a hollow polygonal cylinder, a plurality of elongated coupling grooves (110) are formed in the longitudinal direction of the body part (100) on the outer peripheral surface of the body part (100), the elongated coupling grooves (110) are formed to be slanted with respect to the longitudinal direction of the body part (100), and the wing part (140) has one end coupled to the elongated coupling groove (110) and the other end not coupled to the elongated coupling groove (110), and is formed so as to encompass the body part (100) in the clockwise or counterclockwise direction.
