Abstract:
Disclosed is a tubular vortical device, comprising a vortex generator (1) supplied with a working medium by means of a supply pipe (12). A central cold flow is drawn from one side of a vortex formation chamber (3) through a diaphragm orifice (10), while on the other side a peripheral hot flow enters a hot flow pipe (16) comprising slit-like slots (17). The vortex generator (1) is comprised of a stack (2) of plates disposed between two outer-shell plates (4, 5), said stack being comprised of an alternately staggered arrangement of flow-orientating plates (22) and dividing plates (21). Said dividing plates split the flow, which is accelerated and drawn into vortical movement, into thin streams or layers; this is accompanied by the microstructuring of the flow pattern.
