Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a VR amusement apparatus which enables a passenger to sensuously experience a feeling of boarding a vehicle by actually riding on the apparatus while viewing a virtual-reality video, and which suppresses a passenger's symptoms of VR sickness. [Solution] Provided is a VR amusement apparatus that comprises a chassis, a boarding body disposed within said chassis, and a virtual-reality video reproduction device, wherein: the chassis is provided with, on a bottom part thereof, a vibration-actuating section and a vibration-free space section, and on an upper part thereof, a boarding body installation groove section in which the boarding body is slidably mounted; the boarding body comprises a frame body, a vibrating bottom plate section which is swingably connected to the frame body via an elastic member, a boarding section, and a member for moving the frame body; when the vibrating bottom plate section of the boarding body moves between the vibration actuating section and the vibration-free space section, vibration from the vibration-actuating section is transmitted to the boarding body as the vibrating bottom plate section makes contact with the vibration-actuating section; and as the vibrating bottom plate section moves to the vibration-free space section, the vibration being transmitted to the boarding body is cancelled.
