Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a VR amusement ride device which enables a user viewing a virtual reality image to enjoy the feeling of riding a horse or vehicle by having the user actually ride a machine at the same time as viewing the image, and which inhibits the onset of VR sickness for those who are experiencing the ride. [Solution] The VR amusement ride device includes a VR image viewing means, an image management playback means, a ride body, and a ride body control means. The ride body has a seat, a base, and a tilt angle adjusting part, and the seat rocks about a rocking central axis as a reference axis. The image management playback means records and stores virtual reality image data and event data, transmits the virtual reality image data to the VR image viewing means, and transmits event information based on the event data to the ride body control means. The ride body control means changes the tilt angle of the rocking central axis of the seat to a forward tilt, backward tilt, right tilt, and left tilt on the basis of the event information.
