Abstract:

Provided is a glove comprising 25-30 wt% acrylonitrile, 62-71 wt% butadiene, and 4-8 wt% unsaturated carboxylic acid (100 wt% in total) and formed from an elastomer cross-linked by a bond comprising at least some substituent groups containing unsaturated carboxylic acid, with the remainder of the at least some substituent groups containing unsaturated carboxylic acid cross-linked by a bivalent metal. The glove does not contain sulfur, which is a crosslinking agent, or a sulfur compound, which is a vulcanization accelerator. The Mooney viscosity (ML (1+4)(100°C)) of the elastomer cross-linked by a bond comprising at least some substituent groups containing unsaturated carboxylic acid is 100-220. The glove is characterized by: the thin-film elastomer glove not containing sulfur as a crosslinking agent or a sulfur compound as a vulcanization accelerator and having a thickness of 0.05-0.15 mm; the glove swelling ratio being 240-320 when the glove is formed; the tensile stress being 22-35 MPa; the elongation at break being 480-620%; the tensile stress at elongation of 500% being 15-35 MPa; the surface of the glove that comes in contact with a user being free of adhesiveness while the surface that comes in contact with substances during work being smooth; metal and metal salt impurities being eluted; and the amount of metal, metal salt, and anions contained therein being reduced.
