Abstract:
A production method for a silicon wafer (1) for a solar cell, including: a step in which a silicon crystal ingot (50) is sliced by an electrodeposition wire (53) comprising abrasive grains (22) having an average particle diameter of 8-11 µm; and a step in which a crystal silicon wafer (11) obtained by said slicing of the silicon crystal ingot (50) is etched so as to have a facet (62) having a width of 10-150 µm in the surface of said crystal silicon wafer (11).
