Detailed Explanation of the Invention

Waffle is a Belgian-origin dough dessert. The invention relates to a waffle maker (1) in which the waffle dough is baked. The waffle maker (1) subject to the present invention has a temperature sensor, a cycle sensor (2), a primary sensor

(10.1) and a secondary sensor (10.2) positioned at various locations.

All parts of the waffle maker (1) are positioned on the stand (7). The stand (7) ensures that the waffle maker (1) is at a height suitable for use. In addition, the height required for overturning the baking moulds (6) on their axis is ensured by the stand (7).

The baking mould (6), which bakes the dough in the waffle maker (1), is composed of a lower baking mould (6.2) and an upper baking mould (6.1). The lower baking mould (6.2) is composed of the bottom grill (6.2.1) and the bottom layer (6.2.2). The upper baking mould (6.1) is composed of the upper grill (6.1.2) and the upper layer (6.1.1). There is a heating coil between the bottom grill (6.2.1) and the bottom layer (6.2.2) and between the upper grill (6.1.2) and the upper layer (6.1.1). The heating coil generates the heat required for the baking process. In addition, there is a heat sensor between the upper layer (6.1.1) and upper grill (6.1.2) of the upper baking mould (6.1) and/or between the bottom layer (6.2.2) and bottom grill (6.2.1) of the lower baking mould (6.2). Said heat sensor allows to measure the temperature of the grill and to keep the set temperature constant.

A handle (5) is provided for separating the baking moulds (6) from each other. By means of said handle (5), the baking moulds (6) can be controlled by hand. The user is able to move the baking moulds (6) along their axis by holding the handle (5) on the waffle maker (1) and also to separate the upper baking mould (6.1) and the lower baking mould (6.2) from each other.

The lower baking mould (6.2) and the upper baking mould (6.1) are separate parts. There is an opening shaft (9) which allows the said parts (6.1, 6.2) to be opened and closed easily. Furthermore, the opening shaft (9) prevents said lower baking mould (6.2) and upper baking mould (6.1) from being separated from each other during opening and closing.

There is a sensor box positioned on the slewing shaft (8) at the rear part of the waffle maker (1). There is a cycle sensor (2) inside the sensor box. Said cycle sensor (2) is protected by a sheet metal box (11). There is a two-pronged protrusion on the sheet metal box (11). When the baking moulds (6) are opened, the pin on the upper side of said baking mould (6) enters between the two forks. Thus, the sliding of the baking moulds (6) opened for dough to the right and left is prevented.

Cycle sensor (2) allows to detect whether;

the waffle maker (1) is in baking or dough placement position he baking part has been overturned as the second phase after putting dough and closing the baking moulds (6),

whether the baked waffle dough has been removed from the baking moulds (6) when the baking countdown set is over,

There is a primary sensor trigger (10.1) positioned on the upper baking mould (6.1) and/or the upper joint (12.1). The primary sensor trigger (10.1) located on the side of the upper baking mould (6.1) and / or the upper joint (12.1) triggers the cycle sensor (2) after the baking moulds (6) are opened for placing the dough. When the primary sensor trigger (10.1) triggers the cycle sensor (2) for the first time, it means that the cover is opened. Opening the cover for the first time means that the dough is poured into the baking moulds (6). After the dough has been poured, the baking moulds (6) are closed.

There is a secondary sensor trigger (10.2) positioned on the lower baking mould (6.2) and / or the lower joint (12.2). The baking moulds (6), in which dough is placed and sealed, must be overturned within a specified time. After the specified time has elapsed, overturning is performed. By overturning, the lower baking mould (6.2) and the upper baking mould (6.1) are replaced by each other. The secondary sensor trigger (10.2), which is positioned on the lower baking mould (6.2) and/or the lower joint (12.2), triggers the cycle sensor (2) as a result of the overturning operation. When the secondary sensor trigger (10.2) triggers the cycle sensor (2) for the first time, it means that the baking moulds (6) are being overturned. As a result of the overturning process, the timer runs and the remaining time is shown in the display (4).

While the countdown is in progress, the baking moulds (6) must be opened in five seconds or more. When the baking moulds (6) are opened, the secondary sensor trigger (10.2) triggers the cycle sensor (2) a second time. When the secondary sensor trigger (10.2) triggers the cycle sensor (2) second time, it means that the baking moulds (6) are opened and the baked dough is removed. Then, the functions performed by the primary sensor trigger (10.1) in the first step are performed by the secondary sensor trigger (10.2). Completion of each step means that one waffle dough is baked. Thus, the number of waffle dough cooked on the waffle maker (1) is recorded.

The electronic card (13) is positioned in the panel (3) to remotely control and monitor the waffle dough baking machine. The electronic card (13) and the waffle maker (1) form a WIFI network. It is possible to connect to this network created via PC, phones, tablet etc. electronic devices. After the connection is performed, said waffle maker (1) can be controlled by using the application and / or program designed for the waffle maker (1).

Thanks to the DIP switch (Dual in-line package switch) on the electronic card (13), WIFI networks are uniquely addressed. This allows multiple waffle machines to be controlled without interference from a single device.

The waffle maker (1) under the invention comprises the following process steps;

Powering the waffle maker ( 1 ) (5/ 001 ) ,

Checking whether the temperature of the baking moulds (6) rises above the set temperature (SI 002),

Opening the baking moulds (6) by the user and placing the prepared dough on the bottom grill (6.2.1) (S1004),

Checking whether the dough is placed (SI 005),

Closing the baking moulds (6), i.e the grills and overturning said grills (SI 006) within a specified time,

Checking whether the grids are overturned (S1007),

Timer operation after overturning the grills and displaying the remaining time on the display (4) (S1009),

Checking whether the grills are opened for five seconds or more while the countdown is in progress (S1010),

Removing the dough baked from the opened grills (S1012). A new cooking process will then begin by placing the dough on the grill again. The heat sensor is used to check whether the temperature of the baking moulds (6) rises above the set temperature;

If the temperature does not exceed the set temperature,“LO” appears on the display (4) (S1003).

Checking of whether the dough is placed in the waffle maker (1) (S1005) is ensured by the cycle sensor (2);

If the dough is not placed in the waffle maker (1), process step "Opening the baking moulds (6) by the user and placing the prepared dough on the lower grill (S100i4) " is repeated.

Checking of whether the grills have been overturned after the dough is placed in the waffle maker (1) (S1007) is ensured by the cycle sensor (2);

If the grills have not been overturned, a“CW overturning track order” is displayed and a beep will sound until the grid is overturned to start the timer (S1008).

Checking of whether the grills are opened for five seconds or more while the countdown is in progress (S1010) is ensured by the cycle sensor (2);

If the grills are opened, it is checked whether the timer (countdown) reaches 0:00 (S1011).

Checking whether the timer (countdown) reaches to 0:00 if the grills are not opened for five seconds or more while the countdown is in progress, is ensured by the electronic card (13) (S1011).

If the timer has reached : 00 0:00“, a“ beep’’will sound for a set period of time (S1012). Said“beep” is a warning for the user to pick up the dough from the grill. The user picks up the baked dough with warning and puts a new dough (S1004). The waffle machine (1) is provided with an intelligent device application that allows remote monitoring and control. There is a“modes" option in said application. The“Mode Input” and alarms (warning tones) are checked for the period from the switch-on of the waffle maker (1) to the switch-off. The“Mode” button is used to enter the setup mode and step through each parameter in the setup menu. While in setting mode, the display (4) flashes and a“beep” sound is heard each time the“mode” button is pressed. Each parameter value can be changed using the up and down buttons. The controller automatically exits the setup mode after the last parameter has been set in the setup menu.
